Use Any OpenAI-Workalike Server: gpturl Function Added to gptconnect-bot


I've added an advanced function to a number of the products that supply the OpenAI-compatible interface script gptconnect-bot.  This new function is   gpturl    and allows you to specify the URL to be used for OpenAI-compatible AI queries.   The format is just     gpturl URL    and it allows you to talk to any server you like that offers chat completion functionality.  This includes compatible local servers that use your own GPU - no charges, although a lot of fan noise and electricity used!  

You can find out if your product supports this by sending the    gpturl    command - you should receive back acknowledgement of the new URL being used.  After a script reset the URL will return to its default of  

https://api.openai.com/v1/chat/completions

At present I've added this feature to the gptconnect-bot included in GPT.ConvoBot, Submissive Controller, Robotic Controller, and the Uma-E and -F animesh sexbots and wearables.

There are so many things to do with the bots over in West Mill .  It can be a bit intimidating to figure out how to control them so here is a little guide to how you can play with them.
