LLM/GPT-AI-Powered Robotic DJ to Liven Up Your Club!


Just released - automated RoboDJ to liven up your music club!
Monitors Shoutcast and Icecast type streams and extracts song+artist data, then passes that to a LLM or GPT AI system to be turned into the style of announcement you want, along with information about the track! And is able to send that to a text to audio generator (another AI system!) to get the audio announcement you want!

The AI system can be either our own Private LLM (charges L$1 per 10 announcements for meta-llama/llama-3-8b-instruct ) or you can use your OpenAI GPT api key (works about to about the same, L$0.1 per announcement for gpt-4o-mini).

Audio is generated on a different server and the charge is L$1 per audio announcement. The system also can respond to local chat, and can be set to be triggered by a keyword (e.g., name).

The "bio" or personality of the DJ is fully reconfigurable - just describe how you want the DJ to behave in plain English (or other languages!) and it will do it's thing! The magic of generative AI!

Of course all billing features can be turned off, eitther the AI system or the voice system - via a simple menu that pops up on touch.

There are so many things to do with the bots over in West Mill .  It can be a bit intimidating to figure out how to control them so here is a little guide to how you can play with them. There are two general types of bots .  First, there are animesh objects which you can sit on like furniture (Ava, Ivy, Ora, Uma, Cal, Fox "sexbots"). If you can sit on it, it's an animesh object!
